Every single associate at this store is so welcoming and kind. No matter where you are in your running journey they are happy to help you. I am very indecisive choosing shoes, and never once have I felt rushed making my decision by the staff. They are so patient and have a wealth of knowledge on running shoes, mechanics, and things to think about when choosing shoes. The gear is also top notch. Highly recommend.

I've been fitted at this shop three times now and the staff are very useful and also really listen. They tolerate me trying on ten pairs of shoes, just to make sure that I find the right one that I'm comfortable taking home. I now live out of state but visited when I was back in town, and will definitely plan to do so again when I visit.

Awesome experience with Ellen! Best shoe store visit I’ve had thus far. And so soon after my ankle injury too! Superior input, quality of information, patient and kind service. I really enjoyed my experience at Mill City Running! I am a pretty active person and I have been wanting to get into running more. The associate was really helpful, patient, and thorough! I appreciated the free foot scan analysis, gait test, and treadmill tests to try on the various shoes that were matched to me based on my scan results and needs for my shoes. The customer service in this store was fantastic. I walked out with two pairs of shoes that I love! One exclusively for running and one for coaching and taking HIIT classes that can also be used during my retail job. I would highly recommend this store, especially if you feel a little lost buying the right shoes! (I discovered I have been buying shoes a whole half size too small, this made a big difference!)

I had never been to a running store before and I didn't know what to expect. The staff took great care of me, watched me walk, measured my feet, and recommended three pair of shoes, which I tried in the store. I walked out with the one that felt the best and set a PR in the 10 mile the same day. My hip problems are gone and I am running faster than ever. Highly recommended!

Best place to get shoes. I don't run; I have bad knees. But I needed a good set of shoes. I show up and was helped immediately, even though they were busy. I got my feet mapped and tried on a set of shoes. Got recorded on the treadmill and then was matched up with 6 pairs! The staff were all super friendly even when I asked the most silly questions and took over 25 minutes to decide on a pair of shoes. They only have running shoes, no basketball or tennis shoes or boots or anything. It's still a wonderful experience, and I will be back to buy all of my comfy shoes. They are reasonably priced from what I can tell.

I went in needing a new pair of running shoes. The person who helped me (I believe his name is Matt) was incredibly knowledgeable and worked on finding the perfect shoe for me. It is so great to have a local shop that provides a sense of communal running!
